MSA campaign for mayor candidate Kiri V well received at rally for Migrant Workers' Rights rally in Toronto on June 24

By Barry Weisleder | Municipal Socialist Alliance

The Migrant Workers' Alliance rallied in Toronto on June 24 outside Liberal MP Chrystia Freeland's office to demand that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau keep his promise, made six months ago, to grant Status for All.

The Municipal Socialist Alliance joined this gathering and distributed information about its candidate for mayor of Toronto, Kiri Vadivelu, who is a tenants organizer and immigrant worker who echoes the demand Status for All. The crowd of close to one hundred welcomed the solidarity of the MSA campaign.
